
Horsemanship Foundation Clinic - Level 1 Horsemanship Foundation Clinic - Level 2 In this clinic we develop even more control and communication, resulting in a finished, balanced stop, a balanced back up, lead recognition, speed control at various gaits, etc. (Level 1 is pre-requisite) Optional Two as One Show (7pm-9pm) Bob begins the show with a demonstration of his training methods and philosophies including how to gain control of individual parts of the horse, building on the work accomplished in the Level 1 Foundation Clinic, then you'll see just how to apply this training to achieve higher level maneuvers, such as lateral work, beautiful stops, straight backing, spins and more. Suzanne will show how riders can enhance or hinder their horse's movement through their own movements, no matter what the discipline. This is an interactive show where questions are welcome anytime. Saturday We will begin at 9 am, with a focus on gaining control of the horse's individual body parts, including the front feet, withers, barrel, and the addition of leg cues. Bob and Suzanne will share their Two as One Horsemanship methods enabling the riders to teach: * Lateral work (clockwork) Sunday - We will focus on controlling the shoulders and poll enabling riders to teach their horse: * A soft, correct backup We'll finish the clinic with individual equitation assessments, offering specific exercises to improve and refine the riding skills of each clinic participant. You'll go home with plenty of ideas and techniques to practice as you continue to develop the most rewarding partnerships with your horse possible! We'll finish up at about 5pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
